Nick Vann aka Nematode Nick:
Co-Owner with Leslie Vann aka the Brains and Beauty of the organization. Nick was born, raised and schooled
in the San Antonio area. Nick graduated from McCollum High School in ah..um..some time ago. Received his
Associates Degree from San Antonio College in Radio and Television Broadcasting. Worked for Channel 4 for a
while, proudly served in the First Infantry Division in the U.S. Army, and then worked in the corporate world
for much too long. Nick and Leslie have four sons between them, seven grandchildren, three granddogs and one
not very bright cat. Nick's professional career started in another direction but his love for gardening and
landscaping kept him busy with friends and relatives. Finally one day Nick got tired of the Corporate Rat Race,
decided to work in a field that he really loves and has a passion for. So Nick went to work for a local nursery,
where he fine tuned his landscaping skills. Seeing a need for a landscape company that is totally dedicated to
bringing back God's balance through organics, Nick and Leslie started Nematode Nicks in 2004. Nick and Leslie
are dedicated to keeping the business a family owned and operated business built on Christian principals.
